New team for Portsmouth’s markets

A new team are in place to develop Portsmouth’s market offer. Work is underway to refresh the current regular markets as part of a new 5-year action plan that aims to attract a wider range of traders and introduce speciality and event markets.
Portsmouth runs regular markets and monthly markets:
- Portsmouth City Market runs weekly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Commercial Road offering street food, gifts, clothing, hardware, flowers, and fresh produce.
- Cosham Market runs weekly on a Monday in the High Street offering plants, clothing, hardware and fresh produce.
- Love Southsea Market runs on the first and third Saturday of every month in Palmerston Road, Southsea. Diverse traders offer everything from beautiful artwork must-haves for your home, to vintage clothing, candles to make your house smell divine, screen-printed T-shirts and bags, incredible photography featuring the wonderful surroundings of Portsmouth and Southsea, gorgeous gifts, homewares, jewellery, and more.
- Hampshire Farmers Markets runs on the third Sunday of every month in Palmerston Road, Southsea and offers fresh local produce.
