About Baby 2000
Baby 2000 are located at 43 Copnor Road Portsmouth, PO3 5AB (UK) and our shop opens Monday to Friday 10am until 5pm and Saturday 9am until 5pm. PLEASE NOTE: We are open by appointment only. Please call on 02392 666353 to book your appointment.
Baby 2000 specialises in children’s in-car safety (car seats), pushchairs & accessories.
In-store we offer over 150 different travel system options and some of our staff have been working for over twenty years in the baby & nursery industry.
We are experts in the fitting of car seats and have four staff members who are IOSH accredited. Possibly that will not mean too much to you but suffice to say this qualification is one which a Road Safety Officer would seek to obtain.
It is the HIGHEST qualification available in the UK today and many national retailers don’t have ANY IOSH accredited car seat fitters at all.
One of the reasons for this is cost, the IOSH qualification does not come cheap but we believe it is worth it and that you cannot put a price on a child’s life.
For this reason, we charge (£10.00) for a consultation fee, which allows us time to talk to you and assess your car seat needs, show car seats on the rig and then to fit car seats.
The consultation fee is deducted from the cost of any car seat you may purchase. We have THREE undercover car seat fitting bays + parking on-site.
Payment Plan and Price Matching are available. Ask in store for more details.
